Red Devil Cake

Ingredients

3/4 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour milk (add 2 TBSP of red vinegar to milk)
1 cup boiling water (added last)

Instructions

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Add vanilla. Add boiling water. Batter will be very thin. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min.
