Black Forest Cobbler (Dutch Oven)

2 lg cans Cherry pie filling
1 devils food cake mix (for Gluten free use Betty Crocker Devils Food Mix)
12 oz Black Cherry Soda
Small pkg chocolate chips (optional)
Whipped cream topping


1) Pour pie filling into the bottom of the dutch oven
2) In a bowl mix cake as directed substituting the whole can of soda for the water.
3) Bake 30-45 minutes
4) Add the chocolate chips to the top 5 minutes before removing from the heat.
5) Serve with whipped cream topping
